In this study, 50 winter bread wheat accessions (35 foreign and 15 local) from different agro-ecological regions were evaluated for
resistance to stripe rust under greenhouse (2023) and field conditions (2024-2025) using an artificial infection background.
According to the phytopathological evaluation, 10 (20%) genotypes were completely immune and 36 (72%) were resistant. A
strong negative correlation (r = -0.51) was proved between the area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC) and grain yield.
