In this article, the mechanical composition of light gray soils distributed in the Gulistan district of Syrdarya region was assessed
under climate change conditions. During the study, soil samples were taken at different depths from five observation points located
on four sides and in the central part of the area, and granulometric analyses were carried out in laboratory conditions. According
to the results of the study, the predominance of medium loamy mechanical composition was determined in the main part of the soil
sections, and heavy loamy composition was found in some deep layers. The results obtained are of great importance in assessing
the agrophysical properties of the soils of Gulistan district, monitoring their reclamation status, and developing scientific and
practical recommendations for the rational use of land resources.
