STUDY AND ANALYSIS OF HYDROGEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF SOURCES LOCATED IN BOYSUN DISTRICT
The article examines the hydrogeochemical characteristics of 9 main spring waters in the Baysun district of the Surkhandarya region. The
macrocomponent composition and heavy metal content of the water samples were analysed using the modern ICP (inductively coupled plasma)
method. As a result of the research, the spring water in the area was divided into calcium sulfate and sodium hydrocarbonate types. Additionally,
the tectonic structure of the area and the influence of faults on the chemical composition of spring water were studied, zoning maps were created
based on hydrogeochemical indicators, and recreational prospects for the development of medical and health tourism in the Baysun district were
evaluated.
