GEOELECTRICAL AND GEOMAGNETIC CRITERIA FOR DELINEATING FLUID-CONDUCTIVE ZONES IN THE TAMDITAU-BELTAU REGION
The article systematizes the scientific and methodological foundations for the use of geo - electrical and geomagnetic data in
identifying crustal fluid - mineralization systems within the Tamditau - Beltau mining region. It is taken into account that
geoelectrical anomalies may be associated with fluid-saturated fractured media, sulfide mineralization, or graphitization; however,
low electrical resistivity values may also result from the presence of clay minerals, mineralized groundwater, and lithological
factors. Geomagnetic anomalies, in turn, may indirectly reflect magnetite-bearing rocks and intrusive bodies, as well as the
formation or destruction of magnetic minerals caused by hydrothermal alteration.
