KINOPUBLITSISTIKADA MILLIY IDENTITET VA TARIXIY XOTIRA: O‘ZBEKISTON VA TURKIYA TELEVIZION FILMLARI MISOLIDA
This article examines the representation of national identity and historical memory in contemporary television film journalism through a comparative analysis of the audiovisual experiences of Uzbekistan and Türkiye. The primary object of the study is the historical television series Mendirman Jaloliddin, produced through the collaboration of filmmakers from Uzbekistan and Türkiye, while the Turkish television production Diriliş: Ertuğrul is selected as a comparative case. The study analyzes the screen interpretation of the historical figure, the visualization of national and cultural identity markers through visual and narrative means, and the mechanisms through which historical memory is reinforced within the collective consciousness. Particular attention is also given to a comparative examination of the artistic and journalistic interpretation of the concepts of heroism, patriotism, statehood, religious and spiritual values, and historical continuity within the television discourse of the two countries.
