PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVITY AS A TEST FOR THE PHYSIOLOGICAL STATE OF THE MICROALGAE DUNALIELLA SALINA

Dunaliella salina, cultivation, illumination, photosynthesis, chlorophyll fluorescence.

Authors

The work studied the change in the chlorophyll fluorescence parameter F v /F m =(F m -F o )/F m at different stages and under different
conditions of cumulative cultivation of the Aral strain of microalgae Dunaliella salina. It was shown that this parameter is
maximum at the maximum growth rate of the culture, maximum aeration, optimal illumination and nitrate concentration and is
minimal when growth stops. It was concluded that the indicator of photosystem II activity (Fv/Fm) can serve as an indicator of
the physiological state of the microalga Dunaliella salina during its cultivation to select optimal indicators of illumination,
aeration and concentration of nutrients.
