The article presents a socio-psychological analysis of students' readiness for family life in higher education institutions. Normative legal documents adopted in the Republic of Uzbekistan for maintaining family harmony among students, as well as marriages and divorces and their causes, were studied. A correlation analysis of the results of a comprehensive psychodiagnostic observation using Spearman's nonparametric criterion was conducted, which included the final cognitive-behavioral substantive component of readiness for family life, a survey on volitional self-regulation, and a personality maturity test-questionnaire. Conclusions and recommendations on the sociopsychological analysis of readiness for family life are provided.
