This article analyzes the similarities and differences of phraseological units expressing human emotions in English and Uzbek languages. The expression of feelings reflects the unique cultural characteristics of each language and the values of the people. Basic emotions such as joy, anger, sadness, fear, and love are expressed through different images in English and Uzbek, which shows the commonalities and differences between the two cultures. The article describes the figurative expression of human emotions through phraseological units in both languages and the spiritual essence of these units.
