“EXPLANATORY DICTIONARY OF THE UZBEK LANGUAGE” ANALYSIS OF HOMONYMIC RELATIONS IN WORDS RELATED TO OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

Modern linguistics relies on many new concepts and terms, without which it is almost impossible to master and evaluate the results. Although the phenomenon of homonymy has long been a topic, it is still in the focus of attention of linguists. In this article, homonymy — the uniqueness and semantic difference of linguistic units of the same type — is explained with the help of words related to obstetrics and gynecology extracted from the "Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language".
