THE PROBLEM OF TRANSLATING HUMOROUS TEXTS
Our article provides theoretical information and solutions to the problems encountered in the process of translating humorous texts, meaning that several important aspects must be taken into account in order to achieve an adequate translation. Although linguistics has already begun the study of wordplay, which is the basis for creating jokes and humor, the translator should think about how to reflect them in the target text, taking into account various features of the source language, for example, the dialects and vernaculars existing in the language, existing styles. Particular attention should be paid to these elements, especially if they are used to create a sense of laughter
