SMUT FUNGI OF THE BOBOTAG NATIONAL NATURE PARK

This article presents information on 12 species of smut fungi found in the Bobotag National Nature Park. Analyzing their distribution among host plants, it was found that these fungi parasitize 13 species of higher plants belonging to 5 different families. The Poaceae family was identified as the most common among the hosts on which smut fungi are found. The species Ustilago passerinii was recorded for the first time in the Bobotag mountain range, and the species Urocystis ixioliri was first reported in the Surkhandarya region.
