The growth and development of Bergenia crassifolia (L.), propagated via vegetative rhizomes, were observed during the first and second years of vegetation. In the conditions of introduction, the biomorphology of both the aboveground and underground parts of the plant (rhizomes) was studied, as well as the stages of their development. In Tashkent conditions, the anatomy of the assimilatory organ (leaves) was studied, and diagnostic and adaptive structural features were identified.
