DICTIONARIES COMPILED FOR "GULISTAN" AND THEIR ROLE IN THE LEXICOGRAPHY OF THE OLD UZBEK LANGUAGE AND THE STUDY OF TRANSLATION STUDIES
The article examines the current issues of studying classical literature samples on the basis of originality, informing students about manuscript sources, preparing them as specialists, publishing classical sources on the basis of manuscript copies, preparing excellent scientific commentaries, conducting new scientific and theoretical research in the field of source studies and textual studies, and the explanation of words used in the works “Dictionary “Gulistan” and “Boston”. The Agahi translation of “Gulistan”, linguistic and translation problems encountered in the translation of these dictionaries, and the explanation of words are studied.
