COVERAGE OF LINGUISTIC ISSUES IN THE WORKS OF MUNAVVARKORI ABDURASHIDHONOV
The article discusses the issues of linguistics reflected in the works of the modern Uzbek writer, founder of the national university, philologist and publicist Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhanov. Theoretical and practical issues related to language policy and the teaching of the Uzbek language in Turkestan at the beginning of the 20th century were reflected in the author's articles "State language in elementary schools", "Schools of Turkestan before the revolution", and Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhanov, as a modern enlightened writer, reacted to these issues. The ideas and exercises in the field of linguistics given in his textbooks such as "Adibi avval", "Adibi soniy" are analyzed. The part of the collective textbook "Uzbek language lesson" written by the writer is analyzed, and the issues covered in it are compared with Fitrat's works on linguistics.
