This article is dedicated to the sanctuaries of the Mithra cult in the religious beliefs of the ancient world. The geographical region of Central Asia has been chosen as the area of study. The research analyzes the results of archaeological excavations and the scientific perspectives of scholars who have conducted studies on this topic, including Mikhail Mikhailovich Dyakonov, Elena Efimovna Kuzmina, Edvard Vasilevich Rtveladze, Nikolay Borisovich Vinogradov, Nora Elizabeth Mary Boyce, Viktor Ivanovich Sarianidi, Akhmadali Asqarovich Asqarov, Temur Shirinovich Shirinov, and Alisher Shopulatovich Shaydullaev. The study focuses on the analysis of discovered material artifacts, such as monumental temples and petroglyphs, and presents relevant conclusions.
