This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of creating a mathematical model for the formal grammar of the Uzbek language and examines the possibilities of applying this model in modern language technologies. This article examines the current principles and rules of formalization in linguistics based on experimental grammatical rules. In order to identify scientific approaches suitable for the creation of formal grammar of the Uzbek language, the existing types of formal grammar in the world were analyzed. Below are a number of theories, basic methods, their advantages and disadvantages, which can be used in the creation of syntactic formal grammar of the Uzbek language
