This scientific article is devoted to the analysis of the literary expression of the concept of the lost generation, which emerged as a result of extensive wartime experiences and battle scenes at the beginning of the twentieth century, employing a multi-faceted methodology. The study examines war imagery expressed through artistic realism and postmodern approaches, reflecting the traumatic experiences of the human psyche, social decay, and cultural crises. Works created by authors based on their personal testimonies and rigorous realistic approaches grounded in historical events play an important role in depicting the most complex sufferings of humanity and profound existential questions. The article aims to elucidate the formation of the concept of the lost generation through battle scenes and its significance within a socio-cultural context, using methods of literary studies, cultural studies, and historical analysis.
