This article attempts a comparative analysis of the political governance system outlined in the "Code of Timur" and Montesquieu's book The Spirit of the Laws. Political governance during the Timurid era corresponded to the medieval period of Eastern culture, which was characterized by monarchical, absolutist rule not limited by a constitution. In contrast, Montesquieu's era was the Age of Enlightenment, which proposed the idea of a limited, enlightened monarchy. Therefore, the content of the two treatises differs significantly in terms of political structure. This difference is the main subject of analysis in the present article.
