ASSESSMENT OF THE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT STATUS OF SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN LIVING IN DESERT AND SEMI-DESERT AREAS OF BUKHARA REGION (BASED ON OLOT AND GIJDUVON DISTRICTS)
This article analyzes the physical development status of school-aged children residing in the desert and semi-desert areas of Bukhara region, specifically in Olot and Gijduvon districts. Anthropometric indicators such as height, body mass, head circumference, chest circumference, and body mass index (BMI) were measured using modern methods and compared with national normative standards. The study identifies the influence of climatic, ecological, and social conditions on children’s growth and health. Significant recommendations are made to promote healthy lifestyles, improve sports infrastructure, and enhance medical-pedagogical monitoring.
