THE EFFECT OF KAEMPFEROL FLAVONOID ON RESPIRATORY PROCESS OF RAT LIVER MITOCHONDRIA

The effect of kaempferol flavonoid on oxidative phosphorylation process in mitochondria isolated from rat liver was studied. In our experiments, we used different concentrations of kaempferol flavonoid in the oxidation of succinate, a substrate dependent on FAD, and demonstrated the antioxidant properties of the studied flavonoid, partial division of the oxidative-phosphorylation process occurred under the influence of the studied substance.
