TEACHERS' ECOLOGICAL LITERACY AND THEIR ROLE IN ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION: MODERN PROBLEMS AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS
This article explores the causes and manifestations of environmental problems and highlights the impact of human activities on the disruption of ecological balance. Key issues such as climate change, depletion of natural resources, and loss of biodiversity are addressed. The study emphasizes the significance of environmental education and the ecological literacy of teachers in shaping a sustainable future. It argues that teachers’ ecological awareness and self-efficacy play a crucial role in fostering students’ environmental perspectives and ensuring the effectiveness of the learning process.
