THE POTENTIAL OF LAND RESOURCES OF THE FERGANA REGION AND THE CURRENT STATE OF THEIR UTILIZATION

The article provides a detailed analysis of the potential of land resources in the Fergana region, their classification, and current utilization. The distribution of land across agriculture, livestock, industry, and urban areas is examined. Special attention is given to the efficiency of agricultural lands, irrigation system conditions, soil fertility, and crop productivity. Additionally, ecological issues related to land use, including salinization, erosion, and degradation, are discussed. The article presents recommendations for effective land resource management, diversification, implementation of modern technologies, and ecological monitoring.
