This article analyzes economic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation from 1991 to 1999.
The key stages of interaction are highlighted, including post-Soviet adaptation and stabilization, as well as the beginning of
cooperation within the framework of multilateral cooperation. The article examines the structural features of Uzbekistan's economy
after the collapse of the USSR, the dynamics of foreign trade, investment projects, and Russia's role in the energy sector. Particular
attention is paid to the strategy for diversifying Uzbekistan's foreign economic relations and the formation of an institutional
framework for cooperation with the Russian Federation. The article concludes about Uzbek-Russian multifaceted economic
relations and demonstrate their dependence on domestic and foreign economic and political conditions.
