The article analyzes the expression of the concept of “time” through phraseological units in Uzbek and English from a linguocultural perspective. Phraseological units are examined as linguistic elements that reflect national culture and mentality, through which the attitudes of both peoples towards the concept of time are determined. Throughout the study, phraseological units in both languages are analyzed semantically and lexically, with attention given to the similarities and differences between them. The analysis presented in the article contributes to the study of linguistic devices that reflect the views, values, and outlooks of Uzbek and English peoples regarding time.
