Plato‘s “The Republic” remains one of the most influential and controversial works not only in ancient philosophy but in the
entire history of philosophy. This article provides a philosophical analysis of the utopian state theory put forth in Plato‘s “The
Republic.” Specifically, it delves into the core ideas of the work, the structure of the ideal state, the role of justice within it, the
interrelation of psychology and politics, the significance of the education system, and the concept of the philosopher-king.
Furthermore, the article examines the influence of Plato‘s theory on subsequent views of society and the state, as well as its
relevance in the modern world. Historical-philosophical methods were employed in the analysis of Plato‘s ideas.
