The uneven distribution of reserve volumes across the geostructural elements of the depression is explained not by the productivity of the latter, but characterizes the degree of their exploration. The low level of exploration of the Central Fergana megasyncline is explained by the significant depth of burial of productive horizons. The distribution of explored reserves by productive horizons, the phase state of hydrocarbons, and the cumulative production from them, based on which special graphics were compiled. In the section of Cretaceous formations, 12 reservoirs are identified, isolated from each other by impermeable clay seals of varying thickness. Studies show that under favorable geological and geostructural conditions, all reservoirs may contain hydrocarbons.
