Authors

The article analyzes the ecological and biological significance of molybdenum (VI) ions and reviews modern analytical methods
for their determination. A comparative evaluation of spectrophotometric, sorption, ion-exchange, micellar extraction, and
nanocomposite-based methods was carried out. Chromogenic reagents were found to provide high sensitivity, while anion
exchangers and fibrous sorbents ensure selective separation and preconcentration. The results confirm that an integrated approach
is the most effective for determining Mo(VI) at low concentrations.
