CONSIDERATIONS ON THE RESEARCH OF WATER
This article provides information about some synchronous and diachronic research methods and directions that are priority in the
study of water and water-component compounds in world linguistics. Views and attitudes towards the influence of water on human
character and language grammar are expressed. Also, comments are made on the citation of water-component units in religious
and mythological sources and their cult nature in national culture. The metaphorical properties and associative relationship of
water-component compounds in traditional linguistics are explained based on examples. Some experiences and views on the study
of water-component toponyms are presented.
