This article analyzes the artistic and psychological interpretation of the female image in modern Uzbek short stories and the stages
of its historical and gradual development within the context of socio-philosophical factors. The research highlights qualitative
changes in the depiction of women's fate and psyche resulting from the establishment of creative freedom in the literature of the
independence period, specifically the realistic representation of female characters as pure socio-psychological subjects.
