This article presents a structural and semantic study of Russian proverbs about labor as a specific form of representing folk experience. The material for analysis consists of a corpus of 420 proverbs compiled from classical paremiographic sources. The study identifies the main syntactic models, among which bipartite comparative and antithetical constructions prevail, along with causal and conditional patterns. The findings demonstrate that Russian labor-related proverbs combine brevity, expressiveness, and axiological richness, simultaneously affirming the value of labor while also reflecting its hardship.
