SPRING DYNAMICS OF COLLEMBOLA COMMUNITIES IN SALINE SOILS (A CASE STUDY OF MUYNAK DISTRICT)
Soil samples were collected from the saline territories of the Aral Sea located within the Muynak District of the Republic of
Karakalpakstan. Samples were taken from soil layers at depths of 0 – 10 cm, 11 – 20 cm, 21 – 30 cm, and 31 – 50 cm, with a
volume of 1 dm³ for each sample. A total of 120 soil samples were collected from 60 sampling points. Analysis of these saline
soil samples revealed representatives of Collembola belonging to 2 orders, 7 families, 15 genera, and a total of 15 identified
species. In addition, several forms for which species – level diagnostic characters were insufficient were recorded, including
Entomobrya sp., Hypogastrura sp., Folsomia sp., Protaphorura sp., Neanura sp., Pseudachorutes sp.
