This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the typological features of images found in Uzbek folk oral literature. In particular, it examines the artistic and functional roles of main characters, negative characters, and auxiliary images in fairy tales, epics, legends, and mythological genres, as well as their symbolic meanings and socio-aesthetic significance. The role of images in shaping the worldview, value system, and moral principles of the people is also highlighted.
