RAQAMLI VA INTERNET TEXNOLOGIYALARINING TIL RIVOJLANISHIGA TA’SIRI
This article is devoted to the study of language development under the influence of computer and internet technologies. The research findings indicate that digital technologies significantly affect language development, while users’ vocabulary continues to expand depending on their involvement in digital technologies. In particular, young people, even if they have a good command of English, are often unfamiliar with business slang, whereas the older generation hardly understands youth slang originating from entertainment culture. This study is of practical importance for philologists and digital technology specialists seeking convenient ways of communication through the enrichment of speech with words and expressions derived from computer technologies.
