This article presents a comprehensive investigation of the botanical, morphological, and ecological characteristics of the rare
medicinal plant Ferula kuhistanica Korovin. The distribution of the species in the Jizzakh region, particularly in the Bakhmal
district, its content of biologically active compounds, the current state of natural populations, and the main anthropogenic factors
affecting their conservation were thoroughly analyzed. The paper emphasizes the importance of developing scientifically
grounded measures for monitoring, protection, and sustainable use of this valuable medicinal plant.
