Authors

This article conducts a comprehensive comparative analysis of advanced international experiences in social protection for lowincome families and examines possibilities for their application to Uzbekistan. The research covers poverty reduction approaches
across five major regional groups: Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland) with their high social protection
standards; major European welfare states (Germany, UK, France); Central Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan);
and Asian models (Japan, India, South Korea). Each experience is evaluated through three dimensions: coverage, effectiveness,
and adaptability to Uzbekistan’s conditions. Evidence-based recommendations are provided for strengthening Uzbekistan’s social
protection system
