DISTRIBUTION OF CORBICULA SPECIES OF THE CORBICULID FAMILY IN THE WATER TYPES OF THE KARADARYA RIVER

The main objective of the study was to analyze the distribution of Corbicula species of the Corbiculidae family in the water types
of the Karadarya River. The distribution of Corbicuila cor, Corbicuila fluminalis and Corbicuila purpurea species belonging to
the Corbicula genus of the Cardiiformes family Corbiculidae in various biotopes of the Karadarya River was studied. Corbicuila
cor shell dimensions: shell length L – 26-30: shell height H– 22-24; shell thickness W – 16-19.8 mm., Corbicuila fluminalis shell
dimensions: H – 22-24; L – 20-21.7;W – 19 mm. and Corbicuila purpurea shell sizes H – 21-24; L - 19-20.7; W - 17 mm.
