This article provides information on the creation of a new category of settlements in the Surkhandarya region-the “Yangi
O‘zbekiston” (New Uzbekistan) massifs, which are being constructed based on fully approved master plans. It examines the
ongoing construction works, the conditions being created for the population, and the infrastructure capabilities in these areas.
