Authors

This study investigates the geographical distribution characteristics of hazardous mudflow events in the Chodaksay River basin
and examines the physical geographical factors that contribute to their occurrence. In addition, the relationship between mudflow
events and precipitation amounts during the period 1991 - 2020 was analyzed. Based on the obtained results, the correlation
coefficient between precipitation amounts and the number of mudflow events in the Chodaksay River basin was determined.
Furthermore, the study evaluates the adverse impacts of hazardous mudflow events on the population and infrastructure located
within the Chodaksay River basin.
