Authors

The article examines the methodological significance of applying Gauss`s theorem to the gravitational field in the context of teaching fundamental physics disciplines. A rigorous derivation of gravitational field intensity for objects with central symmetry is presented in both integral and differential forms within a unified SI unit system. A comparative analysis of the structural similarities and principal differences between the equations of electrostatics and Newtonian gravitational theory is carried out. It is shown that introducing the concept of force field flux at an early stage of instruction significantly reduces the cognitive load when students subsequently study Maxwell's equations
