This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the geological structure of Jurassic deposits and their hydrocarbon potential in
the South-Western Gissar region. The area is characterized by complex tectonics, well-developed fault-fracture systems, and
lithological diversity. Carbonate deposits act as the main reservoirs and are directly associated with oil and gas accumulations.
Based on geological, geophysical, and laboratory data, the petrophysical properties of reservoirs and the role of fractures in
hydrocarbon migration were identified. As a result, перспективe zones were outlined and scientifically grounded
recommendations for improving exploration efficiency were developed.
