The article examines the impact of modern technological developments and energy-efficient lighting systems on the formation of students’ technical competence. It demonstrates that the use of LED and compact lighting devices enables students to reinforce theoretical knowledge with practical skills, develop analytical thinking, creative approaches, and practical competence in energy efficiency through independent projects. Integrated and computerized lessons enhance individual learning levels and monitoring effectiveness. The study highlights the scientific foundations for developing technical competence in the “Electric Lighting” course through modern pedagogical technologies and information-communication tools.
