The article presents the results of electrocardiographic indicators in calves of different breeds under the influence of thermal
factors and solar radiation in order to determine the breed characteristics in extreme environmental conditions of the Republic of
Karakalpakstan. The conducted research enabled to trace the age dynamics of the bioelectric activity of the heart in calves of
different breeds for the first six months of life, to establish the regularity of these changes. Thus, in calves of different breeds,
unidirectional functional changes in the activity of the heart occur in early postnatal ontogenesis. The studies have shown that the
functional activity of the heart in postnatal ontogenesis has a specific feature.
