LIVESTOCK AND ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF KARAKALPAKSTAN: INTERACTION AND PROSPECTS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
This article provides a scientific analysis of the impact of the livestock sector on the environment, environmental problems, and
ways to address them in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Natural, economic, social, and environmental factors influencing the
development of the livestock industry have been comprehensively studied. Pasture degradation in the region, the impact of the Aral
crisis on livestock farming, the problem of water resources, and the prospects for sustainable development are examined.
