This article examines the geological, petrographic, and petrochemical characteristics of nepheline tephrite dykes and the alkaline
syenite xenoliths occurring within them in the Tusun Reservoir area. The research results indicate that the nepheline tephrite dykes
have undergone intense autometasomatic alteration, and their mineral composition is dominated by pyroxene, nepheline,
potassium-sodium feldspar, albite, prehnite, and calcite. The abundance of alkaline syenite xenoliths within the dykes suggests the
presence of shallow-seated alkaline intrusive bodies in the region. Petrochemical analyses reveal that these rocks are enriched in
sodium and calcium while being relatively depleted in magnesium and potassium. The study provides important insights into the
evolution of alkaline magmatism in the Nurata region, contributing to the understanding of the genesis of dykes and small intrusive
bodies as well as their potential association with mineral resources.
