This article presents the results of engineering-seismological studies conducted in the territory of Fergana city. During the research,
a comprehensive assessment was made of the area’s engineering-geological and engineering-seismological conditions, the
lithological composition of the soil layers, and their dynamic properties. Based on seismic survey data, the propagation velocities
of shear seismic waves in the soil layers were determined, and average Vs30 values were calculated for layers up to a depth of 30
m. Additionally, the resonance properties of the soils and their seismic vibration amplification levels were evaluated using the
HVSR method.
The results obtained are of great scientific and practical importance for seismic microzoning, seismic classification of soils, and
ensuring the seismic safety of construction projects in urban areas.
