In the current third millennium, the development of information technology is accelerating in seconds. The form of interpersonal communication of people is also intense in proportion to these actions. Real-world understanding of human perception is gaining negative aspects such as decreased expression control, cyberaddication, acceptance of virtual environment culture, resulting in a decline in emotional intelligence. In this work, two groups of adolescents who are prone to internet addiction behavior are studied in relation to the emotional intelligence characteristics of experimental (prone to internet addiction) and control (non-internet addiction) groups as well as personality traits.
