The article examines the distribution of representatives of the genus rodentia across the natural plains and cultural landscape of the Kashadarya region, considered the southern territory of Uzbekistan. The factors contributing to the spread of these species across the territory, the mechanisms of their action and consequences have been identified. The changes that occur in the ethology of species as a result of the adaptation of important ecological and widespread species in various unnatural habitats and its significance are revealed. The factors influencing the study of the natural distribution areas of the species and its penetration into cultural landscapes, and its consequences are shown.
