This article analyzes the semantic and conceptual characteristics of phraseological units containing the “YER – TIERRA” component. It examines how the concept of “YER (EARTH0” is interpreted in different languages, how it is formed in terms of metaphorical, figurative, and semantic aspects, and its role in national thinking. This analysis helps to determine the conceptual foundations of phraseological units, as well as their national and universal characteristics.
