This article analyzes interpersonal relationships between parents and children based on foreign psychological theories, concepts, and studies. It examines communication, affective connections, emotional interactions, and socio-psychological aspects arising in the family environment through the perspectives of foreign scholars. The article discusses the formation, development, and influencing factors of parent-child relationships based on advanced scientific approaches. The research is grounded in the works of Kolominsky, Bodalev, Lomov, Myasishchev, Andreeva, Petrovsky, and others, highlighting components of communication, interpersonal closeness, sympathy, and antipathy. The findings are of practical significance in the context of family education, the socio-psychological environment, and pedagogical strategies.
