This article provides an analytical description of the possibilities and importance of assessment based on the international TALIS program. It focuses on the issue of assessing the performance of primary school teachers. It is argued that the results of assessing teacher performance based on this program are important for identifying shortcomings and developing development plans to improve the quality of education.
